Sectionals Tonight
We are going to the IHSAA basketball 4A East Noble sectional semifinals tonight. 5th ranked FW Snider (20-1)will play East Noble (10-10) and FW Northrop (10-10) will play Dekalb (7-14).
Braxton's school, Carroll (17-4) - was the 18th ranked team in the state before losing to Dekalb in the first game of the sectional by a score of 32-31. Needless to say, Dekalb was successful in slowing down the tempo and were fortunate to hit an open shot with 1 second remaining to win the game.
The winner of this sectional (SNIDER) will advance to the Marion Regional. There they will most likely face my Anderson Indians(18-4) who must beat Anderson Highland(14-8) tonight and the Muncie Central(11-10)/Richmond(7-14) winner tomorrow night in New Castle.
My prediction for the teams in the Marion regional are Anderson vs. FW Snider and Marion(18-3) vs. Lafayette Jeff(17-7). This will be an outstanding regional due to the athleticism of the teams involved.
